More than a Butterfly

You know the butterfly effect (kill a butterfly in the past and you will change the present), but what does that mean for the effects of our actions in the present?

Blurred poems written on parchment scattered under the title of the poem "More than a Butterfly"

The

butterfly effect.

~

An altered past,

an altered present.

~

Even

if the change,

was just

one,

single,

butterfly.

~

It’s

gentle

wing beets,

so insignificant,

so world changing.

~

But,

~

What about you?

feeling powerless

unable

to make a

difference.

~

But,

~

Just

one,

simple task.

~

Just

one,

friendly gesture.

~

And

you,

can be

a butterfly too.
