Moonlight Eyes

I’m lost in your moonlight eyes

Reflections of a world we’ve built

I want it all, lagoon and rise.

I hope we can reach all skies

Fearful touch dictates the lilt

I’m lost in your moonlight eyes.

In depths of you a mirror lies

Showing me a lump of guilt

I want it all, lagoon and rise.

You wanted me without your ties

Embrace me fully like a quilt

I’m lost in your moonlight eyes.

I know how I look at times

Far away it makes such thrillth

I want it all, lagoon and rise.

I was under the weight of lies

Near the end it got me tilt

I want it all, lagoon and rise.

I’m lost in your moonlight eyes.

About the Creator

Gabriella Reti

I write from lived experience, but never in straight lines. What happens in life becomes metaphor, atmosphere, and cinematic story on the page — layered, interpretive, and written for readers who know how to read what remains unsaid.
