That’s strange,
No stars?
It's a quiet ride home
This dark, stormy night
So Calm
Quite Serene
Not another vehicle in sight
Wheels suddenly whistling;
A strange little tune
“Hey, do you hear the tire?”
“It’s fine, silly one
The rain does that sometimes"
Searching the sky;
On the passenger side
So vast
So black
Still can't believe
There's nothing up there tonight
"Yo, look at my window,
Do you see the moon?
Doesn’t it look like it's winking at you?”
Whoa, I’ve never seen a moon burn this bright;
Guess it devoured all the stars tonight.
