Sometimes I hate the moon so much

Because it knows the secrets you keep

And it watches over you every night

Sees you in your darkest times

When I don’t even know

But the moon knows you well

And looks over you every day

When I can’t even do it

And why do I bother thinking about you

When you’re not even thinking about me?

I hate you so much as I hate the moon

But we both know I love you so

I can’t hate the person that I love dearly

Even if I hate the moon for being so close to you

I still whisper to it every night

Hoping it’s watching over you every night

And to tell you that I miss you.
