Never Forgotten

Wrinkled skin

A furrowed brow

Gnarled hands

And yet somehow

A youthful soul

Is what I see

When your image

Comes to me

I miss you, Mom

Night and day

Your gentle touch

Your loving way

Yet I’ll always know

You're near to me

For the bond we have

Spans eternity
