Mixed feelings
"A Portrait of Resilience in a World of Misconceptions"
In a world that seeks to label and to pry,
A girl with passions so bold, reaching high,
Through the lens of her camera, she captures the light,
In a world painted gray, she brings colors to sight.
On the court, she's a player, fierce and free,
With a basketball's rhythm, she finds her glee.
Yet the whispers persist, like a ceaseless stream,
They question her essence, as if in a dream.
In attire chosen by her heart's decree,
She dresses without limits, just wanting to be.
But judgments descend like a relentless rain,
In a world where perceptions hold cruel reign.
They wonder, they gossip, they dare to assume,
In their tangled misconceptions, they fester and loom.
But she wears her resilience like armor and shield,
In the face of their doubts, she refuses to yield.
For her love knows no boundaries, no labels or bounds,
In a world filled with echoes, where judgment resounds.
She's a portrait of strength, of courage, of grace,
In this world of misconceptions, she finds her own space.
Photography, her language, her pictures a song,
Through each click of the shutter, she proves them all wrong.
With the ball in her hand, and her lens by her side,
She'll conquer their doubts, and in herself confide.
So, let the world talk, let them wonder and stare,
In her mixed feelings' tapestry, she'll fiercely declare.
A girl unafraid to be true to her heart,
In a world filled with misconceptions, she'll play her own part.
