In the heart of conversation, our screens glow bright,

As we hold our phones, our focus takes flight.

In meetings and gatherings, this modern-day plight,

We're lost in the virtual, neglecting the light.

We're connected online, yet distant in person,

In the age of smartphones, it's become a worsen.

Neglecting the present, a digital diversion,

Our human connections deserve a reversion.

The laughter we miss, the stories untold,

As we're engrossed in screens, our hearts grow cold.

In this digital age, we must be bold,

To bridge the divide, let connections unfold.

Put down your device, embrace the here and now,

Look into their eyes, let your presence endow.

For in real-life moments, we'll make memories somehow,

And the warmth of connection will always endow.

Let's break this habit, revive what's been lost,

In the world of emojis, let's pay the cost.

Reconnect with loved ones, no matter the cost,

In the beauty of presence, no moment is tossed.

So, remember this message, don't let it depart,

We're meant for connection, it's a human heart's art.

In this digital world, let's restart,

And cherish the moments, the true work of heart.
