Missing You

8-8-10

You were there,

The one I cared for.

Things were right,

But now they’re wrong.

Missing you makes me want to die.

Missing you kills me inside.

And it’s not your fault.

I must’ve said something,

Did something to turn you away

‘Cuz things were right,

But now they’re wrong.

While I may never see you again,

There are those I will,

And to them just as you,

I send my love.

A word to the wise,

Hold on to what you have,

What you had,

And treasure what you will receive.

For while I may miss you,

And others as well,

Life goes on and a meeting

May not be in the Fates’ plans.

But still; missing you makes me want to die.

Missing you kills me inside.

And it’s not your fault.

Things were right,

But now they’re wrong.
