Miss You
Poem
I'm rewriting my life every second that I breathe
It's normal for me to do otherwise
It's not normal to go out of my mind, so I don't
(Miss you)
Pleasing breaks the speed of light
I'm rewriting my life so you could get a slice of it
so, I could get a measured temperament
for a bit
give me a second, got another pen, want to join me, did you lose your telephone? Somewhere in this is a paradox, and you'll never be left alone
for a while
Maybe in the special moments like these, there is something to breathe for
Seconds tick, lovers pick sides, the sick get better, nature takes a stride, the golden ball rests so well on the inside, untouched and waiting for the great weaver of tales
Maybe I'll rewrite the destroyers right out of my life, and this object of cruelty will deride all equations, will bleed the suffering of the nations like a leech in their shadow, kiss the stranger on the cheek to weather the enemy, the serpent leaving my veins as quickly as it came, tease the formation, whisper your name sweetly in my sleep after the clouds breaking through, hold and love the paradox of you
So that I can feel the resounding steps of a giant
