Mirror

A mirror, a reflection of the self,

A window to the soul, on a shelf,

A tool to see ourselves, as we are,

A mirror, a truth, shining like a star.

A surface of glass, that captures the light,

And reflects it back, with such insight,

A glimpse of ourselves, in our truest form,

A mirror, a reminder, of who we were born.

But a mirror can also show,

The parts of us, we may not know,

A shadow side, that we may hide,

A mirror, a chance, to abide.

It can be a source of inspiration,

Or a cause of self-examination,

A tool to help us grow and evolve,

A mirror, a way, to resolve.

So let us look into the mirror,

And see ourselves, with no fear,

For in the reflection, we can see,

The beauty and the truth, that's meant to be.
