Water
Water, a force of nature, pure and true
Water, a force of nature, pure and true,
A liquid of life, that flows and grew,
A source of sustenance, and a symbol of change,
Water, a wonder, in its many forms and range.
It can be calm, like a mirror, reflecting the sky,
Or wild, like a river, that rushes by,
It can be gentle, like a raindrop, or fierce like a wave,
Water, a reminder, that nature is both gentle and brave.
It can be a source of healing, and a place of serenity,
It can be a place of danger, and a force of ferocity,
It can be a mirror of the world, and a reflection of the soul,
Water, a mystery, that never gets old.
So let us respect and cherish, this gift of the earth,
For it sustains us and gives us birth,
And let us preserve it, for future generations,
Water, a treasure, that needs our preservation.
A liquid of life, that flows and grew,
A source of sustenance, and a symbol of change,
