Who Are You Looking At?

I didn't like my hair,

I didn't like my face,

I couldn't be bothered with make-up,

It wasted too much space!

I redid my ponytail,

A million times, and more,

The mirror started laughing,

I almost threw it out the door!

I was almost ready to go,

But I was back in front of the mirror,

Once more,

Readjusting everything,

Hoping this time I'd get up and go!

Oh no!

It wasn't happening yet,

My bum is still glued to that stool,

I'm not leaving this house,

Looking like a fool.

The mirror grew a face,

It wasn't much of a disgrace,

Until he winked from beneath my hat,

And asked;

"Who are you looking at?"
