Mentally Destroyed By You

Mentally destroyed by you.

My mind, my bones, fractured, broken.

Bruises faded but stay in my mind.

Heart aches, hurts

like a free-flowing river—that is my blood.

One moment I feel happy,

next, good turns to dust.

You are gone from this life,

yet I still cry with etched pain.

It’s in my brain, I can’t understand

how can a person can inflict all that pain.

You died—that was the easy way out.

I am in limbo, left to ask why.

From 16 to 30 my life a mass of hurt

Just for loving a wicked wicked man
