A wilted rose - A painful cry
A horrible memory - I want to crawl up and die
A time in life
So long ago
Us together
Once as a whole
A warm embrace - His smiling face
His rough hands to hold - It all must be erased
My fears
Let out for all to see
Honest and open
I am face to face with me
I search my heart - And dry my tears
I must stay strong - For future years
The pain will heal
The hurt will mend

A true friend
