A Dance In Time
A time machine magnifying tenderness
when life held out its hands, with loving eyes
Before it showed me just how fickle living is

Music fills the gaps here, where the lonely hides
bringing back to life, what fell away
Matchless, when the melody begins to synthesize.
*
A trip through time, reliving moments, come and gone
flashbacks of a world left behind
Reflections of perfection, revealing my sweet, paragon
*
Timeless treasures, glory days, now since, bygone
carefree days, when time was limitless
My days of youth, recaptured, visiting my Avalon
*
Nothing has the power to transform a heart
like rhythms from a scene, kept from the past
Drop the needle in the groove and feel it start
*
Close your eyes and let music, sweep your thoughts away
to a time that soothes the beast hiding inside
That time machine still holds that power today
Turn the volume up relax and press replay
