Caught In A Memory, Stuck On Replay

A speck of grace

A secret kept

A hidden place

I can't forget

*

A whispered word

A tender touch

A moment lost

A bit too much?

Photo by Ava Sol on Unsplash

A second thought

Another chance

A choice to make

A longer glance

*

A mistake or not

A final shot

A special friend

A time forgot

Photo by Jake Charles on Unsplash

A memory recaptured

A soul reclaimed

A softly mentioned

Lovers name

*

Looking into your eyes,

I’ve found who I am.

When you bite your lips,

my whole world comes undone.

*

Somehow pulling away

never once crossed my mind.

Giving you more of me,

till you tell me goodbye.
