Meadows of luscious furs, mellow hairs crop

The earth, it’s pillow-like rebound and make

And cooling sun above never to stop

His pursuit, neither rainy days to wake

A rush on dreaming boys or dreaming girls;

Meadows of earth amount to dreams, the first

Of heavens clime began with clouds of pearl

A-crowd the lowest steep, where ragwort ‘merse

That did His hand so softly lift this ground

Above to heights that reach high scenes of stars

The Holy Plain, The Gold Meadow surround

The starry heavens, shining endless bars

Of pales of light and songs of fluttered flight;

Disrobed of life and death the place is young

Of vital green and warm eternal light

Meadows of knead-less plight, forever young,

For spring is spright for years to come, and fall

And winter—nigh arrive or dusk and night,

Meadows of heaven hoard the stars delight

And all of sin of sloth can now appall

With lids arise and full with vigor’d days

Meadows! Meadows, have filled our longing days
