It’s okay to not be okay.

No one will judge and some will stay.

It’s okay to fall apart,

To have had a broken heart.

Life isn’t always a joy ride.

Sometimes it’s gonna slip and slide

In directions and angles unexpected.

But that doesn’t mean simply stay protected.

All that twist and turn

Is just how you learn.

Smooth seas never make skillful sailors

And without pricks, there’d be no tailors.

To be in love is great and all.

But what good is love when you fall?

When only you, alone

Out there in the unknown,

Are falling through your own heart

Trying to fix every part

Without anyone there

To tell you, “Don’t be scared”

And “I’m here. Don’t you ever forget.

I’m here for you when your eyes get wet.”

It’s okay that you have repeatedly been a fool.

The fact that you still try makes you a more precious jewel.

One day,

Some day,

You’ll find who you’re looking for

And know love down to your core.

But for now you can settle for me

And I will love you more than the sea.

We are the same person after all

So there’s no way for just one to fall.

We are forever me,

Queen of this raging sea.
