Me, Myself And Mime

Is That So Bad?

By Kelli Sheckler-AmsdenPublished about a year ago • 1 min read

Sitting in the window

Crying at the rain

Hanging here in limbo

The glass mirroring the pane, (pain)

Wondering if the tears are mine

Or just raindrops on the sill

I’ve told myself a million times

I’m running out of time to kill

Old friends and friendly faces

Strange how they are not the same

Empty hearts and cluttered spaces

Forgetting pasts and usernames

Changing my mind and passwords

Both depending on deadlines

Screaming while not saying a word

Capital F. I. N. E., fine

I’ll get myself together

I mean, don’t you think it’s time

We’ll talk about forever

After a few more years fly by
