Somethings last forever

I leave with a heavy heart:

Every time I say goodbye

it saddens me to see

the tears behind your eyes,

and I hate to bring you pain.

But alas, my love, I must go,

I can’t remain;

yet know that I love you;

you fill my every thought;

my heart you’ve bought.

So don’t fret or worry;

soon I’ll be home to you.

I only have a few more things to do,

then I’m yours forever, always, true,

till the end of all time, everlasting,

me and you.
