ME AND MY QUILL

It was a dark day,

I do remember still.

The night was gloomy too

As I sat by the window sill.

When I longed so bad

For a fresh new start.

When I couldn't confine

Those thoughts in my heart.

I picked up my Quill,

I poured my heart out.

And like a sapling in the Sun,

My mind did sprout.

Whenever I feel low,

I talk to my Quill.

We jot masterpieces together

And sometimes even chill.

I don't fear the dark now,

And never ever I will.

As we are best friends now,

Me and my Quill...
