Maybe it's you?

Seeking to find love when you are too easily infatuated

I love.

I love too much.

I love in such a way that leaves me slipping on metaphors and tumbling down all too familiar rabbit holes of emotion.

This is why I need you.

I need you to help me.

I need you to understand the ebb and flow, the orchestral solo, the build me up, knock me down, just one more round aching desire of my heart.

But I love easily.

I love freely.

I yearn inconsequentially for so many in this state of desire, but I need only you to hold my hand through this tumultuous, turbulent storm that I call my life.

I feel frustrated.

I seek but never find the answer.

Who is this "You" of which I speak that can harness the emotion that I spill and help me weave the fibers into an exquisite tapestry of joy?

I can only hope.

I need this hope.

I hope that my outreached hand one day finds yours and you pull me closer, drawing me into your warm embrace.

Do I need this to end?

But when will it end?

When will this endless tempest of adoration and devotion within me finally be calmed and put to rest?

Maybe it's you.

Maybe, after all this time, it is you...
