Marmalade Prance

A Poem

Marmalade Prance

Marmalade Prance

Tiger lilies float,

around my fingertips

wafting a sweetness

that is your essence

your crown is broken,

my head is utter chaos

eating a petit four,

such a sweet taste

for such a fresh prince

captivated by your

ice laced soul, my mind

wanders as the pollen,

dances amidst

my nose, how do I...

declare such a jovial state of being,

when I can just prance with a

bellowed laugh and say finally,

I have lapsed into something...

so delightfully wondrous.
