As a banner on the battlefield, As a standard then to raise,

Like a triumphant release of praise, Like an uplifting of the shield,

As a weapon then to wield, Like a constant shifting of the maze,

Like love that surely stays, Like mercy then to yield,

As fate has surely sealed, As you consider towards your ways,

Like treasures surely reeled, As plunder gathered amidst the constant frays,

So words are like weapons, choicest blades for the task at hand,

As soldiers in the army, as rebels come to band,

With wisdom and understanding, with knowledge and prudence kept in sight,

May you be effective in your dealings, as you wage your faithful fight.
