Maia Enters the Scene
Hawthorne and Lily of the Valley

She walks these jade hills
Spreading magic with her heals
In her flowing gown of cream
She brings to life a sweet dream
With an enchantment, she brings
The rushing of the springs
The banks are lined with fern
Ready for the songbirds' return
Brought by the warming of days
Surrounded by flower sprays
The Goddess decked out in emeralds
New life and renewal are her heralds
May bells decorate her hair
Which she picked with such tender care

Resting under the shade of the May trees
She guides the sun along the path of the bees
With a spirit that can tame a Bull
She brings to life that which was dull
Bunnies and fawns abound
Wherever she can be found
With her comes the trilling
A promise fulfilling
There’s always hope
You’re strong enough to cope
You can win
Over the darkness within
So raise your chin
Don’t give in
She gave her oath
You have hope as long as there’s growth
