Lunch Date with Poetry Buddies at Noon
We had so much fun and talked about everything under the sun and the moon
We got together on the ninth of June. Just one day after our rhyming day and it wasn't too soon. It was great, first rate, and what a date. We talked, we wrote and we talked again. We wrote a bit about relationships, some good, some not so. I thought I might first share June 8th to begin.

Oh, my dear, that is so sad
And it makes me really mad
For a woman, the world is tough
People treat us terribly rough
Men can be such ass holes
And in a group, they get bold
Maybe to hell, they will be sent
Burning their asses as they repent

OMGness! by CVA
It’s a poem about a man.
Could be any man.
But this one’s mine.
Frustrating me all the time.
He can be fun-
But those times are few.
I think every day- a good day is due.
He crabs about this,
Which ends in a hisss.
He whines about that
No matter where we’re at.
He yells because someone wasn’t smart.
But he yells at me, that old fart!
“Talk to THEM” I always shout back.
But Oh No, he can’t do that.
I want the first man that I married.
Not this one whose crazed and “Harried”.
He doesn’t joke or laugh anymore
He’s not the same guy I use to adore.
Bring back my fun and happy man.
Bring him back as fast as you can!
I avoid him most of every day.
If Gunsmokes on I stay out of his way.
I’ll be in my yard digging another hole.
Is it another garden? No one will ever know. 😉
~~
Good thing women know how to joke
Instead of yelling or settin things up in smoke!
Them men really better watch out…
The day we finally crack they better run no doubt 😆

I surely can relate
so fun on that first date
Got a ring on my finger
The fun didn’t linger
Then I found another one
that first date sure was fun
Wasn’t long I had to run
Third time was the one
Every day, we had fun
He’s been living in heaven
Gosh, the years have been eleven
I’m having fun on my own
I guess I just like to be alone

Men can be slow
But I love him this I know
He takes his time
and hardly ever gives me a dime
~
Yes, slow they cn be
But always for something for me
If it's something for them
It's done very quickly.
~
Are you talking sex?
My, it can be so complex!
~
How can this bunch of gals so sweet
talk so nasty about the guys they meet
I guess it's because we have lived a lot
and experienced those guys who have gone to pot
~
I gave up pot and never smoked alot
I love my guy and don't know why
Yes, I do! It's sex I'm talking about - oh my
Relationships are complex that is for sure
It's girls having fun getting together, yes sir!
