What if I told you how I feel?

That I know it's just me, I'm not your type, whatever or whoever that is, but that I needed you to know?

Don't say a thing

I don't need to hear it;

This might be stupid, but I'm not, and I'm stepping back for a while,

at least until I'm over it.

The secret of it all has been killing me, but I won't burden you with the task of rejection or the awkwardness.

I just had to get it out, this stupid crush I can't squash.

I hope we can still be friends when I come back around,

whenever that is, whenever I figure this out.
