What is Love?
Is it the feeling in your chest that accelerates your heartbeat? What about the butterflies in your stomach that makes your knees weak? Could it be the the three letter word between the sheets? Or how about the five languages we speak?
What is Love?
Is it a human? Is it a fish? Is it a dog? Is it a person, place, or thing? Is it a God?
Can anyone tell me? Does anyone know? Does it really exist? Or is it all for show? I began to look from within, searching for a thought; One that determined Love by what Love is not.
Love is not just a friend, Love is not just a lover, Love is not only what you have for others. Love is not pride, Love is not selfish, Love is not hellish. Love is not tested, Love is not kisses and Love is not hugs.
Love is actually all of the above.
Having all the pride in knowing your worth, and being selfish enough to walk away from hurt. Greet with kisses and greet with hugs, because greetings with friends are greetings of Love. Love yourself as you have love for others, because Love is what we need for our sisters and brothers.
Love is like gold in a fire, it cannot be destroyed. Only melted and remolded, over and over again.
