Love story (63)

Pink

I

never

thought waiting

could feel

like its

own

kind of

love,

until

you.

The days

grow longer,

the

distance

stretches

further

than I

ever imagined,

yet my

heart

does not

complain.

Whether

this

becomes a

story we

get to

keep,

or a

dream that

slips

through

our hands,

I am

still

willing to

wait.

Not

because I

am certain

of the

ending,

but because

you have

taught

me

something

beautiful

that

patience is

not the

absence

of

longing,

but

the

courage

to

carry it

gently.

So

if time

ask more

of me

I will

give it.

If

the road

becomes

longer,

I will

walk it.

Because

loving

you

has

taught me

that some

souls

are

worth

waiting

for,

even when

tomorrow

is

unknown.

Love doesn’t

arrive

like

noise.

You

turned

my

impatience

into

peace,

my

restlessness

into

faith.
