Love's Elusive Embrace

Longing for Connection

By Ryan Kizzu BorkhamPublished 3 years ago • 1 min read

In the quiet chamber of a lonely chest,

A heart, in solitude, beats its lonely best.

It longs for love, a tender, warming embrace,

To find its partner in this vast, empty space.

Through valleys of hope and peaks of despair,

It seeks a love that's genuine and rare.

Its rhythm dances to the tune of desire,

A burning flame that never seems to tire.

It yearns for a touch, a gentle caress,

To banish the shadows of loneliness.

In the night's embrace, it silently cries,

For the love it dreams of, under starlit skies.

Oh, the heart, so fragile, yet so strong,

It's been waiting, oh so long.

To find the one whose love will make it whole,

To heal the wounds that time cannot control.

In the tapestry of life, love's threads may weave,

And in its gentle current, our hearts will cleave.

So, let us be patient, and in time, we'll see,

The love this longing heart was always meant to be.
