feeling of all
Overlooking obstacles
after every fall
An ability presuming
while gliding over ice
Accepting the reactions
less destructive when they hide
Laughing most attempts
countering perfection
imagined when first made aware
up until times noticing rejection
or waning in its constant care
Migrations follow
unfamiliar patterns
to a newer version of despair
Crystalline edges
and thorns break the skin
Words dig like tunnels
and echo again
Never to remember
fresh starts to begin
but concern for more departures
the outlooks from within

Standing Still
There are very few moments in life where time truly stands still. When your breath is taken from your chest and your body hangs weightless in that moment. Just long enough for it to stay with you from that day onwards. Deep in the red sands of the Australian Outback, I found that moment and clung to it forever.
