Love is Blind

Blind Love

By layali mumtazPublished 4 days ago 1 min read

In shadows where the moonlight hides,

Where whispers fade and silence bides,

I found a love without a face,

A heart that beat in empty space.

Eyes closed, I wandered through the night,

Drawn by a flame, unseen, yet bright,

Your voice a melody so pure,

In darkness, I was ever sure.

No need for sight to feel the grace,

Of love's embrace, a soft embrace,

Your touch a ghostly, tender thing,

That made my soul take flight and sing.

Through unlit paths, our spirits danced,

In blind devotion, we entranced,

For though the world remained unseen,

In love, my heart was evergreen.

No sight could dim the light we shared,

In blindness, we were unprepared,

For love that thrived without the eyes,

A bond that reached beyond the skies.

So here, within the dark we stay,

Where love guides us, we find our way,

For though we cannot see the dawn,

In blind love’s arms, we carry on.
