Love is blind

How strange the way, our minds they work,

Full of intricacies, and personal quirks,

How strange one thing, can cause you stress,

Yet another day, no feelings express,

But the mind alone, doesn’t have control,

The heart also, can have a starring role,

As the heart can read, situations wrong,

Diving in, just so headstrong,

For the heart can be, in love so blinded,

And often let’s say, quite misguided,

Jumping to, strange conclusions,

Causing so much, hurt & confusion,

If the heart is to, make mistakes,

And for the mind, some trouble make,

It isn’t with malice, or jealousy,

It comes from love, and an honest place,

As tears can run, down your face,

No ones perfect, that is a fact,

And the heart appears, to counteract,

As emotions cloud, the heart and mind,

It’s probably why, they say love is blind.
