Love is and Love is not

Love is a gift, that when true, deep in our soul, we feel.

Love is not a toy for play, a ploy, or a deal.

Love is the best cure for any and all that give it a shot.

A way to bend you to my will, love is not.

I can tell you of love, for I have felt love and love lost.

Only for the time I have, is love the cost?

Why does love give us so much, and make life pop?

If one day too soon, it will come to a stop.

Is life post love a life at all?

Or is love, post life, the true call?

My love is no one's but mine.

Your love is not the same, and that is fine.

Keep love in your mind, body, and soul.

Let it take what it must, and sink deep into the hole.

No way to get out. No way to quit.

That is the true fear of love, isn't it?

Fear is not love, and love is not fear.

Drop the fear, dive in the hole, love is a grin, from ear to ear.
