In dreams, I see his face so bright,
A vision of pure, untainted light.
His eyes, like stars, shine with such grace,
And with each breath, my heart finds its place.
Love him, love him, want him so,
Longing for him, like a river's flow.
In his embrace, I find my home,
With him, my heart beats all alone.
Miss him, miss him, every day,
Yearning for his love in every way.
With every step, my heart does stray,
But in his arms, I find my way.

I would not ask you to pluck a single feather from your wings for me, But Heaven knows, I cannot fly anymore. A/N: Does this count as sad poetry? I was sad when I wrote it - and sat in a nature reserve. Some sort of gloomy, melancholic, poet spirit must have possessed me! I hope you're all having a wonderful time where you are!
