We balance life,
But we fail to love.
We balance emotion,
But we fail to stay with the person for whom we care.
We love from the heart,
But is it enough?
For all we care.
We tend to fail.
Love the true way, and it will stay.
Not just love.
Make it all your life.
Love is strong,
With the one we love.
Tell her you love her,
She'll forever be loved.
Don't stop there,
Tell her more.
What to say?
I don't know,
It's your heart that should say.
Let your heart be free,
And you'll know the true meaning of life's love.

Doing it for the troops
The others dropped like flies around me. We fought and struggled to get to this point. I'm the only one left now. The objective is right there. A mere two hundred feet away. The last of my team got a bullet to the head right next to me, but I couldn't do anything. I was able to locate and neutralise the sniper as he shot my friend, so his death was at least not in vain.
