What do I love...?
Hell, that is too much work,
And I don't want to be a jerk...
*
This city, my work...
A free and open town;
A good life: many ups...and one down.
*
Then, a film or two.
A nice book (a poem
or play - I can skim them).
*
And that's my list:
Not much room for more.
Far too dull...I shut an open door.

Who needs a heart when a heart can be broken – Kendall Defoe, 2023 I think I like this more than your poem!
Kendall, I love how you took this challenge out of the realm of loving people, because, of course, the intangible of loving life is equally important! Can't wait to read your other offerings.
I love these short and sweet entries
Short and sweet! Lovely!!!
It's not dull at all, Kendall. Except for that one down, it sounds as though you are pretty content with your life. What more can one ask? And even that one down helps provide some contrast so that you have something to measure the rest of your life against.
Hi Kendall ~ So What's "Love Got to Do with it?" - Fun - J-Bud
