Love Found, Love Lost

A Couple's Tragic Tale

In fields of green, they met in spring,

A love so sweet, a wondrous thing.

They laughed and danced beneath the sun,

Two hearts entwined, their love had begun.

Days turned to weeks, weeks turned to years,

Their love grew strong, through joy and tears.

They promised each other, till the end,

Together forever, as lovers and friends.

But fate had other plans in store,

Their happiness shattered, forevermore.

A cruel disease, no cure to be found,

Took one of their hearts, without a sound.

Days turned to weeks, weeks turned to pain,

Their love couldn't save, what fate had claimed.

The other heart, left broken and alone,

Could only mourn, for love now gone.

In fields of green, they once had met,

But now, only one heart is left.

A love so sweet, now filled with sorrow,

As one heart beats, without its tomorrow.

Love found, love lost, a tragic tale,

Of two hearts, forever entailed.

In memory they'll forever stay,

Together in love, come what may.
