Love Ending

Where is the point where love ends?

Love Ending

I was driven to driving over caked roads

Empty on both sides

(lies, you were filled with wonder)

wondering what would be at the end;

does the road ever end or is it

...

infinite like the definition

of a line in geometry, nonstop

unless it runs into a point?

...

Where is the point where love ends?

Because sometimes it does end

even when it's supposed to be eternal.

...

Does it never really end?

Does it just slow down to match

the speed of a rock becoming a grain of sand?
