Love Eclipse Forbidden

The Sad Song of Sol

By RobPublished 11 months ago • Updated 11 months ago • 1 min read

Luna, my love

How cruel a Universe, agony

Carved in the imperial gravity

Are the Laws of Heaven so cruel,

To keep love imprisoned, parted by

Torment and Walls of Stone;

Void all the pain of the billions and millions; worth

That one night,

Luna, my love

We meet again in that blinding light, Proof!

The envy of Paradise won’t keep us,

Apart, at night. I miss you, Mother of Life

Luna, my love

Separated by whatever machination mortar the Time into Space

How I wish to be the blue grass under your night;

Silver song serenading motion into tides.

Folding night into memory, to remember

When our eyes first met across sizzling chaos,

When we first danced to rhythms of planets cooling

When we kissed first over the birth of oceans

And as the seasons formed, so too did our love

Luna, my love

Parents to that indescribably small metabolic thing of

First Life

I knew then;

All the anguish, all the wait, all the pain we suffer,

It’s worth it

Our love, forbidden by Paradise

Except for one Night.
