Because you can love

Love picks people up

off the floor

and drags them to bed

Love screams

to be loved

just to hear silence

Love is consuming

and exhausting

and blind

Love isn't always blind

Love can open eyes

and shut hearts

Love can be a feeling

a choice

or a delusion
