I sat before the TV

And watched the numbers mix.

I crossed my fingers, held my breath,

As carefully picked six.

One, seven - Oh! good grief!

I've got those numbers, too.

Heck, if I could win a million,

I'd even share with you!

Wait! What's this? The lights went out!

Must be the power's line.

If I don't get those numbers soon,

I'll quickly lose my mind!!

I am a 79-year old grandmother who loves to write, fish, and grab my camera to capture the beautiful scenery I see around me.
