Lost Letters and Broken Harmonies
Echoes of Words Unspoken and Songs Unfinished
By Edison kingsPublished 2 years ago • 1 min read

Where words once whispered, silence now lingers; where melodies once soared, only echoes remain
I found your words in tattered ink,
Folded soft where echoes sink.
Each line a whisper left unsaid,
A song unfinished, left for dead.
The paper hums with quiet ache,
Like strings unplucked, a heart that breaks.
Your melody still lingers near,
Yet every note dissolves in fear.
Chords unravel, time stands still,
A chorus trapped in hands unskilled.
The harmony we tried to weave,
Now, it drifts away like autumn leaves.
If only silence spoke instead,
And filled the spaces where we bled.
Perhaps these letters, torn and tossed,
I would sing again the love we lost.
