Bloodshot eyes that won't Stay open.

Tear-stained cheeks covered in dirt.

A terror that never leaves the body.

Forever stuck on autopilot.

Fight or flight responses that never shut off.

Longing for the sweet release of death.

The voices never seem to cease.

A mind that never rests.

Exhausting days and restless nights.

The big issue is never resolved.

The little things are lost in translation.

Yet life will go on with or without you.

The world never stops turning.

The best will never come.
