Looking for Leda's Tattoos

Translucent tattoos carving

scratching. Ink-stained

fingers searching.

Purple-feathered hearts

pounding. White breasts

quivering. Another mystic

misplaced in the throbbing

dawn of bloodless lust.

Capsules of greek mythology.

Spoonfuls of philosophy.

Lines of enlightenment.

Abandoned tree-houses groan

with decaying imaginations.

Forgotten shadows are cast

in solitary backyards.

And smudges of clouds are

nothing but graveyards

in the sky.
