Longing

A witness to love, yet missing its heart.

In a realm where love's story unfolds,

A gal's heart ached, its tale untold.

She gazed upon a friendship true,

Her friend and mother, an eternal glue.

Their bond, a tapestry woven with care,

Moments shared, love beyond compare.

The gal, with longing, eyes glazed with dew,

Admired the love her friend and mother knew.

She yearned for a touch, a comforting embrace,

A love like theirs, a sacred space.

But fate's cruel hand denied her plea,

Leaving her heartbroken, longing to be free.

In silence she wept, her dreams torn apart,

A witness to love, yet missing its heart.

But in her pain, she found solace's call,

To cherish the love she never had at all.
