Escape - impossible

Release - a myth

redemeption is

Nothing

but a fabled fantasy

Thoughts of bravery

are rendered

powerless

Delusions of grandeur

That your failings

Are greater than

All your successes

The twilight lie

Your betraying mind

proclaims

to hold you captive

to keep you down

Lonely is the night

But don't

Give up the fight

See past the dark

to the truth

in morning light

Escape is possible

Release is real

Redemption

is

Everything
