Lonely Hours Of The Night
I sit alone and my tears cry just for you to come home

Lonely Hours Of The Night
The night hums soft, a quiet tune,
A silver hush beneath the moon.
The empty chair, the silent sigh,
A heart so full, yet asking why.
The walls remember every sound,
A whispered name still circling round.
The clock hands crawl, the hours slow,
A longing only shadows know.
A thousand thoughts, a single ache,
A smile I wear, a smile I fake.
The world moves on, a distant blur,
And hope’s a ghost I barely stir.
The stars blink cold, too far to touch,
Their distant glow — it speaks too much.
I reach for dreams that slip away,
And beg the dawn to let me stay.
The quiet lingers, sharp and clear,
No voice to break the silence here.
Just time, a weight I cannot see,
A hollow room, and only me.
And when the morning spreads its light,
It finds me much the same as night.
No softer breath, no hand to hold —
Just empty hours, still and cold.
