everyone else found delight
Bumble swiping right

pizza box on floor
TV hums a quiet roar
Netflix asks “watch more?”

cat curls on my lap
soft purrs like a gentle tap
hope begins to sap
*
moonlight through clear glass
shadows creep and slowly pass
peace evades my grasp
*
time stalls without friend
no replies to likes I send
God, make this night end!
