Joys and triumphs
Malaise and mistreatments
Jealousy and toxicity
Love and wonderment
Pain and torture
Taking more
Giving less
Backstabbing
Treachery
Deceit
Despair
Absorbing
Pondering
Seeing the disdain all around
Mother Earth crying out for change
Lashing out her anger
Lessons are not being learnt
I converse to the moon
The darkness becomes my comfort
The light my hope
As the sun arises
